What you will learn from The Power of Self-Compassion Online Course
In the face of hardship or failure, many of us have said:
Why do I struggle in situations that others seem to handle much more easily?
It’s my fault, and I deserve this.
If I’d just tried harder, things would be different.
What is wrong with me?
We learn how to be self-critical in a way that it becomes second nature. We believe that if we’re too easy on ourselves, we’ll fail. But we also have another powerful drive: self-compassion, which protects and strengthens us much more effectively than self-criticism.
An ever-growing amount of scientific evidence reveals that highly self-compassionate people are:
- More motivated and productive
- Less self-critical, anxious, and depressed
- More self-confident
- More resilient and persistent when they fail
- Happier and more satisfied
- More curious, creative, and innovative
- And even physically healthier
Could you use more of these “positives” in your life? We could too. That’s why self-compassion research pioneers Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer created The Power of Self-Compassion, a program that will help you grow this inner strength—a natural ally to help you in every life situation.
